Past Projects

Ronald McDonald House is an American independent non-profit organization whose stated mission is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of Children. As the local service project this year Visakhians chose to provide lunch for the parents of Children at “Miller’s Children’s Hospital" residing at Ronald McDonald house in Long Beach, CA. 

Millers Children’s and Women’s Hospital is dedicated exclusively to the quality and compassionate care of kids and expectant mothers. More than 8,000 children are treated each year for chronic conditions. 

Many Visakhians contributed by actively participating in cooking the delicious meal and many others by way of donations. The committee appreciates and thanks all the Visakhian’s and their families sincerely.
